A good recreation is what Minecraft players are devoted to. Sometimes it’s like the Stranger Things house. Minecraft-server-list.live Other times it’s more intricate like the people who recreate Elden Ring in the sandbox. This time, it’s a Minecraft Ghostbusters recreation, except it’s more of a musical one.

Raevix on Reddit posted a video that asks the question “Who You Gonna Call?” We all know the answer to that – nobody can be bothered to text. It’s a clear reference to Ghostbusters, and Raevix shows off an incredibly complex and impressive music machine made out of Redstone that plays the movie’s iconic theme song.

3k Notes, 2:40 minutes of music, One huge pile of redstone spaghetti. Who are you going to call? From Minecraft

The whole thing is a testimony to not only the sheer brilliance of both the song and Redstone, but also the absurd level of patience Raevix must have. The intricateness alone is enough to have the majority of us crying in the corner, but to stay with it and try it a number of times to get this right must have been a gruelling experience.

Raevix explained in a post that the nearly three thousand notes needed to create this song is too large for linear circuits. Therefore, they needed to come up with various creative solutions. “It occurred to me there’s enough repetition in the song that I could be able to cut down on space by breaking the song into loops and creating an electronic circuit that gradually activates loops and deactivates loops to create the entire song.”

Although this version was built in creative the past, they are now looking to go into survival mode and make it again. You can even download the world file to see it in action. It’s not necessary in the end, but you’ve got it in your head now isn’t it?
